Reliance Launches "VOWI-FI CALLING" In India: How to enable VoWi-Fi calling on your Android, iOS smartphone


The Country's Giant
Telecom Compony Reliance Jio has launched VOWi-Fi calling service in Delhi-NCR
and Chennai circles to benefit its consumers. This service is available for
Samsung and Apple users. However, the Jio VOWi-Fi calling service will soon be
available to users of Xiaomi and OnePlus. Earlier, Airtel introduced this
service in December 2019. Let us tell you that Airtel is currently offering VOWi-Fi
service in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
Consumers
can use Jio's VOWi-Fi service through in-house Wi-Fi connections and public
Wi-Fi hotspots. This service will improve the calling experience of Jio users.
At the same time, experts believe that Jio Vo wants to connect more and more
customers with Wi-Fi. Also, the company's profits will also increase. Users
will not have to get a separate app, log-in or new number for this service of
the company. Also, they can use Jio VoWi-Fi calling through a home-connected
Wi-Fi connection. It is expected that Jio will soon introduce this service in
other states of the country.

Which devices Are Supported:

Until Now, a limited number of devices support WiFi calling on Jio. Apple iPhone 6s and later are supported with major Samsung devices like Samsung Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy S10 and more. Even some mid-range and budget devices like Samsung Galaxy M20, Galaxy A70 and more are supported. Jio listed only three Xiaomi devices in the list, including Redmi K20, Redmi K20 Pro and Poco F1.
