Tata Altroz Engine Details & Specifications Revealed:-
The new Tata Altroz will be offered in
both diesel and petrol engines and both will be compliant with the upcoming BS6
emission norms. Tata Altroz will launch with a 5-speed manual gearbox. In 2020,
Tata Motors is gearing up to start hosting new and updated models and Tata
Altroz is one of its long-awaited launches. In 2020, it is expected to be the
first model of the company to be sold in India, we have already shared many
details about the car with you. Now, the carmaker has finally released the
engine details and specifications of the upcoming Tata Altros. Tata Altrose is
set to become the company's first premium hatchback to be offered in both
petrol and diesel engines and both will be in line with the upcoming BS6
emission norms.
Tata Motors has entered the premium
hatchback segment with its new car Altroz. The company introduced Tata Altroz
on 3 December and its booking has started from 4 December. This new car will be
launched in January next year.
Tata Altroz has a length of 3990 mm,
width 1755 mm, height 1523 mm and wheelbase 2501 mm.
In
petrol Engine
The Altroz has a 1.2-liter petrol engine.
The 1199cc, 3-cylinder engine generates 86hp power and 113 Nm torque. At the
time of launching, it will get only 5-speed manual gearbox, while the automatic
gearbox will be given after some time.
In
Diesel engine
Tata Altroz has a 1.5-liter turbo
diesel engine. It is a 1,497cc motor, which generates 90hp power 200 Nm peak
torque. Even with this engine, only the 5-speed manual gearbox will be
available initially.
The new Altroz will be the company's
first premium hatchback car and will compete directly with the Maruti Baleno
and Toyota Glanza. It is believed that the new Altroz will be launched in a few
months. But there is no information currently about which month and date it
will come. Tata's Altroz car has a seven-inch infotainment touchscreen system.
In addition, the company is also offering dual-sleeve headlamps. The expected
price of this car can start from Rs. 5.50 lakhs.
The
interior
The interior of the Altroz, given in
the dual-tone color scheme, is quite premium. The car has features like 7-inch
free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, new steering wheel and rear AC
vent with ambient lighting, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The interior of the
Hyundai Elite i20 has been designed quite well, providing a perfect balance of
style in the cabin. It gets a dual-tone interior, a 7-inch touchscreen
infotainment system, a cooled glub box and plenty of utility space. The
interior of the Baleno is also quite premium. It will get features like
dual-tone colour theme, comfortable seats and Smart Play Studio.
Braking
and safety
All three cars have been given disc in
the front and drum brakes in the rear. Apart from this, the trio has dual
airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and cameras, safety features like
high speed warning, seat belt reminder, keyless entry, immobilizer and ISOFIX
child seat mounts.
